Flanking the central landscape are two full-length standing figures rendered in a woodcut style — a male saint or civic figure at left and a robed female figure at right — each set upon pedestals within vertical border panels. Below the vignette, the denomination text reads 'fünfzig Pfennig' alongside the town arms, with an inscription stating the note is payable against this cheque from the holder's savings account with the Verein für Heimatpflege, and the printer's imprint 'FLEMMING-WISKOTT-A.-G.
