The issuing authority heading 'Kriegsgeld der Stadt Schwenningen' is set in large Gothic lettering at the top. At centre, an oval cartouche with decorative bordering contains the denomination '50 Fünfzig Pfennig' flanked by circular '50' medallions on each side. Below, the validity expiry date and anti-counterfeiting warning are printed in Gothic script, with the printer's imprint in small Roman type along the bottom margin. |
