| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a beaded inner border framing the central field. The large numeral '50' dominates the center, rendered in a serif typeface. A circular legend around the periphery, set between the beaded ring and the octagonal rim, reads 'GEBR. PUTZLER G.M.B.H.' at the top and 'PENZIG O/L.' at the bottom, separated by small six-pointed star ornaments at each side. The overall design is typographic and utilitarian, consistent with wartime emergency coinage practice. |
