备注

Landsberg in Oberschlesien — now Gorzów Śląski in Poland — issued this Notgeld in 1921 during one of the most politically volatile periods in the region's modern history. The Upper Silesia plebiscite had taken place in March of that year, with the population voting to remain with Germany, yet the eventual League of Nations partition awarded a substantial industrial portion to Poland anyway. Local Notgeld issues from this period were as much an assertion of administrative continuity as they were a practical response to the national coin shortage.

Small-town Silesian Notgeld from 1921 was often printed in short runs and redeemed quickly, leaving survivability largely to chance.
