| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed in black and red on tan paper with a fine guilloche underprint, the obverse centres on a vignette reproducing a medieval coin seal of Höxter in which Saint Vitus stands in robes within a circular Latin legend. Bold red Gothic numerals '50' flank the vignette at left and right above red foliate ornamental panels, while the issuer designation 'Stadt Höxter Notgeld' and redemption clause appear in black Gothic letterpress across the lower register, completed by a manuscript signature at the foot. |
