The denomination '50 Pfennig' appears in large Gothic numerals at lower left and right. Above the vignette the issuer name 'Gemeinde Bismarckhütte in Oberschlesien / Gmina Bismarkhuta Górny Śląsk' is inscribed in Gothic script, while a lower panel carries the bilingual commemorative legend referencing the Upper Silesian plebiscite of 20 March 1921: 'Gedenke des Schicksalstages Deiner Heimat der Volksabstimmung am 20 März 1921'. |
