The issuer inscription "BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK / AMMONIAKWERK MERSEBURG / LEUNA-WERK KREIS MERSEBURG" appears in bold letterpress at the top, below which a scrollwork band carries the legend "Gutschein über" in italic script.
