| Obverse description | Multicolour letterpress vignette centred on the municipal coat of arms of Nöschenrode — a shield divided into alternating red and white horizontal stripes — surmounted by a red crenellated tower crest and framed by elaborate scrolling acanthus ornament in red and ochre. The denomination numeral '50' appears in all four corners within circular cartouches, and a ribbon banner across the middle bears the issuer name 'Gemeinde-Nöschenrode'. The issue date '15. Juni 1921' and the redemption notice 'Die Gemeindekasse löst diesen Schein bis 31. Dezember 1921 ein.' are printed above, with facsimile signatures of the Schulze and Schöffe below, followed by the printer's imprint. |
