The word "Gutschein" is rendered in large Gothic (Fraktur) script across the upper portion, flanked in the upper corners by spruce-branch vignettes. A central circular guilloche medallion carries the bold numeral "50" in black. To the left, validity text states the note expires three months after public announcement; to the right, the place of issue "Ballenstedt i. Harz" and date "28. Sept. 1920" appear above the printed designation "Der Magistrat" and two facsimile signatures. The issuer name "Stadt Ballenstedt im Ost-Harz" is set in large Fraktur lettering across the lower portion. |
