Obverse description Green and red bicolour Notgeld on cream paper with an overall floral guilloche underprint. The left panel carries the large red numeral '50' flanked by two circular municipal seals; the right panel bears the denomination in red Gothic script 'Fünfzig Pfennig' below the issuer title 'Städte Ruhla' in a decorative cartouche, with the issue date and two manuscript signatures of the municipal board at foot.
