| 备注 |
Nördlingen issued this note in 1918 under the same emergency authority that drove hundreds of German municipalities to produce their own small-denomination scrip when coins vanished from circulation during the war. The Stadtmagistrat — the city's municipal magistracy — was one of countless local bodies scrambling to fill the void left by hoarded and melted coinage. What distinguishes the Nördlingen series is the town's own peculiar geography: Nördlingen sits inside the Ries crater, one of the best-preserved meteorite impact structures in Europe, and civic pride in that distinction shows up in the local paper culture of the period.
The DeNG 2#978.7 reference places this within the second volume of the standard Deutsches Notgeld catalog, Bavaria section.
