背面描述	The reverse is printed in dark navy blue and yellow on grey stock within a double-rule inner border. The entire field is occupied by a bold woodcut-style bust portrait of a historical military figure, identified by a facsimile signature below the portrait as 'G. Scharnhorst'; the subject wears a dark uniform coat with a heraldic epaulette and an Iron Cross at the collar. Below the portrait vignette, in a plain lower panel, the Gothic-script motto 'Getreu bis zum Tode!' ('Faithful unto Death!') is printed in black.
