| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black and red on grey-beige stock within a plain ruled border. To the upper left, a circular black medallion bears the denomination '50 PFENNIG' in bold red numerals and lettering. The upper field carries the issuing authority's name and a payment order text, with an account reference 'Konto Nr. 112' at top right and a facsimile signature of 'Fischversand Saturn / Joh. Müller' at right. The central and lower field is dominated by a vignette of the steam trawler 'Saturn Ro. 164' rendered in black letterpress, set against a faint warehouse quayside underprint; above the vessel, a tricolour pennant in black, white, and red bears the motto 'ORA ET LABORA'. To the lower right, a second circular black medallion contains a stylised red planet Saturn with rings, serving as the firm's trade emblem. |
