| Obverse description | The obverse carries a central vignette in letterpress rendering a street-level view of the Wriezen town church with its tall steeple at left and the adjacent civic building at right, executed in fine black line engraving on an uncoloured ground. An ornate blue decorative border with interlaced scroll and geometric motifs frames the entire note, while the denomination legend "Fünfzig Pfennig" is set in large Gothic blackletter type within a solid blue panel along the lower margin. In the upper portion, a manuscript signature above the issuing authority text divides the note date and redemption clause. |
