Opmerkingen

Amtshauptmannschaft Pirna was one of hundreds of Saxon district authorities that began issuing Notgeld in 1918 as small-denomination coins vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or absorbed by wartime requisitions. The Krey und Sommerlad firm in Niedersedlitz, just outside Dresden, handled a considerable volume of this regional emergency paper, printing for multiple Saxon issuers during the same period.

The "Bezirksverband" designation is worth noting: this is district-level, not municipal, which places it a step above the typical town-issued Notgeld in administrative authority.
