| Obverse description | Salmon-pink note with a two-colour letterpress design in black and green. The central panel carries the denomination inscription in Gothic script above a large curved cartouche bearing the numeral '50 Sch' in bold outline lettering set against a fine guilloche underprint. Flanking the central panel are two lateral vignettes on a teal-green scrollwork ground, each containing a standing figure in medieval military dress — a pikeman to the left and an armoured soldier to the right — rendered in a woodcut-style line engraving signed 'Rleß'. The lower portion bears the issuing authority 'Der Stadtrat zu Freiberg i. Sa.' in large Gothic type, below which appears a manuscript signature above the printed title 'Oberbürgermeister', all enclosed within a decorative chain-link outer border. |

| Reverse description | Salmon-pink note printed in black and salmon tones with a geometric diamond-pattern underprint filling the field. The central vignette, executed in a bold woodcut-style line engraving signed 'Rich', shows a miner in working attire pushing a loaded ore trolley bearing the city's coat of arms on its side panel and the denomination numeral '50 Sch' on its face; the skyline of Freiberg with its distinctive church towers is visible in the background behind the figure. The upper left carries the denomination and redemption text in Gothic script, with 'Stadt Freiberg' inscribed at upper right, all framed by a decorative scrollwork border. |
