| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse displays the German Imperial eagle with wings spread, facing left, surmounted by a crown bearing a cross finial. The eagle bears on its breast a large quartered heraldic shield, elaborately detailed with oak-leaf mantling and ornamental scrollwork at the base. The field is plain, enclosed by an inner beaded border. The mint mark letters appear at the bottom of the field, flanking the lower decorative scroll beneath the shield. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features the large bold numeral '50' prominently displayed in the central field, flanked by a circular legend reading 'DEUTSCHES REICH' along the upper arc and '• PFENNIG •' along the lower arc, with the four-digit date positioned vertically on the right side between the upper legend and the beaded border. The entire design is enclosed within a continuous inner beaded circle, with a plain outer rim. The layout is uncluttered, giving prominence to the denomination. |
