| 裏面の説明 | A panoramic nocturnal scene occupies the upper portion of the reverse, printed in dark blue-black, grey, and ochre-gold, illustrating the illuminated Kaiser- oder Alsterinsel as seen on 18 June 1895, with fireworks bursting overhead, festive pavilions aglow on the island, a tall illuminated tower at right, and rowing boats on the water in the foreground. Shield cartouches in the lower corners each carry '50 Pf.', and a lower panel in ochre bears a Low German verse in Gothic script commemorating the occasion. |
