| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse carries a detailed panoramic engraved vignette of the town of Gurau (Guhrau) as it appeared before the great fire of 1759, with a sweeping townscape of church spires, rooftops, and surrounding fields rendered in fine line work. The denomination '50' is repeated in cartouches at left and right, each set within a red shield. A caption panel at the foot of the note names the town and the historical event in Gothic lettering, and the DRGM registration number is printed below the border. |

| Opmerkingen |
Städtische Sparkasse Guhrau — the municipal savings bank of Guhrau, a small Silesian town — was among the hundreds of local German institutions forced into emergency currency production during the hyperinflationary spiral of 1922. Flemming & Wiskott in nearby Glogau handled a substantial volume of Notgeld printing for Silesian issuers during this period, which gives the production quality here a slight edge over notes farmed out to less specialized printers.
Guhrau itself became Góra after the postwar border revisions handed the region to Poland in 1945, which makes surviving municipal paper from this town a footnote in a fairly compressed administrative history.
