| Obverse description | Dark-printed Notgeld note dated 1. März 1917, issued jointly by Walsrode and Fallingbostel. The central vignette consists of a large bold numeral '50' set within a dark circular guilloche medallion, flanked on either side by ornate cartouches bearing the denomination inscription 'PFENNIG' in raised letterpress. A decorative guilloche border frames the entire note, with a vertical serial number printed along the left margin. Three manuscript signatures of the issuing institutions' representatives appear along the lower edge. |
