| Obverse description | The obverse is framed by a decorative border of rendered pine branches and cones in olive and brown tones. At centre, the vignette presents the arms of Suhl — a crenellated red city gate with two flanking towers, surmounted by crossed hammers, all enclosed within a circular wreath of pine boughs tied at the base with a red ribbon bow.
