正面描述	Outer pearl border follows the octagonal flan, enclosing a circular rope border within which the municipal coat of arms of Oldenburg is displayed at center: a shield surmounted by a mural crown, bearing a secondary shield charged with a diagonal band. The circumferential legend reading 'STADT OLDENBURG I. GR.' arcs along the upper field between the pearl and rope borders. Two five-pointed stars and a lozenge ornament appear in the lower field below the rope circle.
