Adolf Schwarz in Lindenberg im Allgäu was one of the more prolific Notgeld printers of the period, supplying municipalities across the country that lacked any realistic local printing capability. Designer Dittert's credit appearing on a note for a Silesian municipality printed in Bavaria is entirely unremarkable for the series — Notgeld procurement operated more like mail-order than civic ceremony. The .1 variant designation in the DeNG reference suggests at least one additional type exists for this issue, likely a color or text variant.
