| Obverse description | Brown and pale blue letterpress vignette of the Völkerschlachtdenkmal (Monument to the Battle of the Nations) in Leipzig, rendered in a bold graphic woodcut-like style, occupying the upper central portion of the note. The title GUTSCHEIN appears in large Gothic lettering across the top, followed by text identifying the issuing Notgeld exhibition in Leipzig with validity dates from 27 August to 4 September 1921.
