Obverse description Central vignette within an oval guilloche frame presents a colour lithograph of the Kreishaus (district administration building), a large multi-storey structure with red-tiled roofs set against a green landscape. Small vignettes of Schloss Brandenstein (Ranis) and Schloss Ziegenrück appear in the upper left and upper right corners respectively. The denomination numeral '50' appears in yellow on dark circular cartouches at lower left and right, while the lower portion carries the issuer inscription and date panel on a grey ground, with a manuscript signature and serial number.

A decorative border of stylised pine branches and cones frames the central scene on all sides, with the denomination '50 Pfennig' in bold red numerals at the upper left and upper right corners. A miner's badge shield with crossed hammers and the motto 'GLÜCK AUF' appears at the top centre, and the locality name 'GROSSKAMSDORF' is inscribed in large yellow letters across the lower portion above the validity clause.
