| Obverse description | A beaded border runs along the inner rim, encircling the municipal coat of arms of Marktleuthen at centre, which features a quartered shield surmounted by a crown and displaying a rampant lion amid stylised floral charges. The date 19 17 is divided and positioned to the left and right of the shield respectively. The circular legend MARKTGEMEINDE above and MARKTLEUTHEN below arcs around the central device, reading continuously within the beaded rim. |

| Reverse description | A beaded border frames the entire design, with the circular legend GILTIG BIS 6 MONAT arcing across the upper field and FRIEDENSSCHLUSS along the lower field, the two segments separated by five-pointed stars at each side. The large numeral 50 occupies the centre of the field in bold relief, with the word NACH inscribed immediately below it, completing the phrase indicating validity for six months after the peace treaty. |
