The field bears the issuer's name arranged in four lines reading AUTOMOBIL- / & / AVIATIK A.G. / LEIPZIG in incuse raised lettering at center, with HEITERBLICK inscribed along the lower arc of the border. A small five-pointed star appears in the lower central field between the place name and the border legend. The design is entirely typographic with no figurative elements, characteristic of German industrial emergency coinage of the World War I era. |
