备注	Landkreis Bochum — the rural administrative district surrounding the city of Bochum, distinct from the city itself — issued this note through its Kreis-Ausschuss during the early Weimar inflation period, when municipal and district authorities across Germany were producing Notgeld simply to keep small-denomination commerce moving. The Reichsbank had all but abandoned the lower end of the currency supply. F. A. Gimmerthal printed this in Langendreer, a colliery town then still within the Landkreis boundary before it was incorporated into Bochum in 1929.
