Braune' at lower right. The denomination '50' and 'Pfg.' appear at the upper left and right corners respectively, flanking the vignette, while a municipal coat of arms occupies the lower left and a shield inscribed 'Frankenhäuser Notgeld / Gültig bis 31. Juli 1921' the lower right. Below the vignette a Gothic-script commemorative text reads 'Zur Erinnerung an das 25jährige Bestehen des Kyffhäuser-Denkmals / Frankenhausen a. Kyffh. d. 19.
