背面描述	The reverse is printed in warm ochre-brown and olive-green, with the same foliate decorative border framing the entire composition. The central vignette presents a panoramic view of the Hamburg Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli pier buildings), with the distinctive clock tower of the Pegelturm rising at centre, harbour cranes and warehouses visible across the River Elbe in the background. The denomination 50 PF. appears in a circular cartouche at bottom centre, superimposed on a horizontal ribbon rendered in the German national colours of black, white, and red.
