| Obverse description | A full-width colour vignette occupies the upper two-thirds of the note, presenting a perspective view down the main road of the Lichtenhorst prisoner-of-war camp, flanked by rows of red-roofed barracks, telegraph poles, a narrow-gauge railway track, and tree-lined grounds; a street sign reading 'v.Weyne Str.' is visible at left and a canteen building at right.
