| 正面铭文 | 50 PFENNIG 50 RUSSENLAGER LICHTENHORST Dieser Schein verliert seine Gültigkeit am 1. April 1922. Neustadt a. R., den 20. August 1921 Die Kreissparkasse |
| 背面描述 | Bold black border frames the design, with the denomination '50 PF' repeated in large Art Nouveau-style numerals at upper left and upper right. The central vignette, executed in a vivid colour-lithograph style, presents a traditional Lower Saxon half-timbered farmhouse with a red roof set against a blue sky with birds in flight, flanked on either side by silhouetted tree forms in olive-green tones. Two Low German dialect motto banners appear below the central scene, one at lower left and one at lower right, with a further text ribbon at the very bottom of the vignette. |

| 备注 |
Kreissparkasse Neustadt am Rübenberge was one of hundreds of district savings banks that turned to notgeld printing during the 1920–1922 small-denomination crisis, when the Reichsbank's coin production simply could not keep pace with inflation-driven hoarding. Appelhans Verlag in Braunschweig produced a considerable volume of this regional notgeld work — a commercial printer serving a commercial need, not a security printing house.
Neustadt am Rübenberge sits in the Hannover administrative district, and the Kreissparkasse's issues were intended strictly for local retail circulation within that catchment. Redemption was theoretically guaranteed but practically uncertain as hyperinflation accelerated through 1922 into 1923.
