| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is printed in blue, orange, and gold on cream paper, with a scrollwork guilloche border framing the entire design. At upper centre, the issuer's name appears in bold Gothic blackletter script: "Kommunalverband" above "Marktheidenfeld". To the left, the municipal coat of arms of Marktheidenfeld is set within a heraldic shield, divided into an upper field bearing a six-pointed star and the date "1921" flanking it, and a lower field showing an arched stone bridge above wavy lines representing the Main River. To the right, the denomination numeral "50" is rendered in a large ornate blue calligraphic style, with a dragon-head motif curling from its base, set against a vignette of a haloed figure in red outline. |

| Opmerkingen |
Kommunalverband Marktheidenfeld was a municipal administrative association in Lower Franconia, and like hundreds of similar bodies across Germany during and after the First World War, it issued Notgeld to compensate for the acute shortage of small-denomination Reichsmünzen that had been hoarded or melted. The Kommunalverband structure — distinct from a single town issuing authority — meant this scrip carried a slightly broader local mandate, theoretically valid across the member municipalities rather than one township alone.
The four-year window spanning 1917 to 1921 is wide enough to suggest reissues or multiple print runs rather than a single continuous float.
