背面描述 Tan and ochre decorative border with stylised skittle-pin motifs in the side panels and '50' numerals in the upper corners frames the central vignette. A humorous caricature in letterpress depicts a young boy in braces and short trousers standing triumphantly on a bowling lane amid fallen skittles, holding a ball aloft. To his right, a large red cursive numeral '5' is accompanied by the Low German legend '5 penning för mi!'. The lower panel carries a further Low German caption, and 'Pfg' appears in red at each lower corner.

备注

Notgeld issued by a bowling association is unusual even within the eccentric world of German municipal emergency currency. The Keglerverband Wismar — a private sports club, not a municipal authority — was among the many non-governmental bodies that took advantage of the permissive Notgeld environment of 1921 to issue locally circulating scrip, partly for practical liquidity and partly because the collector market had made such issues briefly profitable to produce.

Gebrüder Hohenschild in Lübeck were a regional printer active across the Notgeld boom, supplying numerous smaller issuers throughout Mecklenburg and Holstein.
