| Obverse description | Plain octagonal field with a continuous pearl border following the eight-sided periphery. The circular legend GEMEINDE HINDENBURG O/S. runs along the upper portion of the field in raised Latin letters, identifying the issuing municipality of Hindenburg in Upper Silesia. The date is split across the lower field, with '19' to the left and '18' to the right, flanking the open central area. A small decorative rosette ornament appears at the bottom, below the date numerals. |
