背面描述 Yellow-cream ground with blue-grey underprint repeating 'PFENNIG' across the lateral panels; the central vignette presents a detailed letterpress view of the historic Jever Stadtkirche (town church) with its distinctive onion-domed tower, framed by tree foliage. Denomination numerals '50' appear in the lower corners of the lateral panels, which carry Low German dialect verses addressing the tower as a civic symbol; a further inscription at the base of the central panel reads 'GOD KLEIN KEIN'.

备注

Jever's 50 Pfennig Heimatfest note belongs to the sprawling world of German Notgeld — the emergency municipal scrip that proliferated between 1914 and the early 1920s as coin disappeared from circulation and the Reichsbank struggled to supply smaller denominations. By 1921, many towns had shifted from genuine emergency issues to collector-oriented "Serienscheine," printed in attractive sets and sold to hobbyists as much as spent in shops. Whether this particular piece saw real circulation or went straight into albums is the central question for any Jever Notgeld.

Drewes Buchdruckerei in Oldenburg handled both design and printing — a local firm rather than one of the specialist Notgeld printers like Giesecke & Devrient or Haus Neuerburg, which gives the production a regional character consistent with smaller Frisian town issues of this period.
