| Obverse description | The note is divided into three vertical panels: two cream-coloured lateral fields with a white floral guilloche underprint, flanking a central black vignette of the Renaissance façade of the Haus der Schiffergesellschaft in Lübeck, rendered in fine letterpress line work. The denomination '50 Pf' appears in large red numerals within each lateral panel, above and below the respective inscriptions. A rectangular text panel at the base bears the issuer's name and proprietors' names in bold black letterpress. |
