| Obverse description | Two-colour letterpress note in black and teal on cream paper. The central field carries the large bold numeral '50' over the word 'Pfennig' against a teal guilloche underprint of tight scroll-work, framed by elaborate Art Nouveau cartouche borders. At left and right stand woodcut-style vignettes of artisan figures — a craftsman at left and a weaver at right — while the upper margin bears the motto 'Sich regen bringt Segen' split across both corners. The lower portion carries the date 'Göttingen, 15. November 1920', the issuing authority text, validity clause, and two manuscript facsimile signatures of Handelskammer officials. |
