| Obverse description | Central field features the heraldic city gate of Gostyn, depicted as a three-towered fortified gateway with crenellated battlements rendered in low relief, set against a plain field. The gateway is flanked by a decorative foliate scroll at its base. A beaded inner border encircles the central device, with a second beaded border running along the coin's rim. The circular legend MAGISTRAT DER KREISSTADT GOSTYN runs along the outer field, and the date 1917 appears in the lower exergual area, flanked by two small six-pointed stars. |
