背面描述 The reverse, printed in black and green on the same grey-tan stock, is filled edge-to-edge with a dense woodcut-style allegorical composition in which a draped female figure reclines among fruit-laden vines and foliage in the company of two large bears, the whole centred over a green oval underprint. A decorative cartouche at the lower margin encloses a two-line German verse quotation in green letterpress. No denomination appears on this side.

备注

Weimar notgeld from this period sits at an odd intersection of municipal finance and civic pride — the city was effectively branding itself around its literary heritage at the exact moment the inflationary spiral of the early Weimar Republic was making small-denomination Reichsbank coinage disappear from circulation entirely. The coin shortage, not hyperinflation proper, drove the 1921 notgeld wave; the catastrophic inflation came later.

Dietsch & Brückner were a local Weimar printer, which was unusual — many municipalities farmed emergency currency production out to larger specialist firms. Printing in-house kept costs down but meant uneven quality control across the series.
