| Reverse description | A full-width woodcut-style vignette in grey-green, red, and black illustrates the defeat of the robber knight Bassewitz by the citizens of Kyritz, with a group of armed townsfolk subduing a fallen armoured figure amid a rocky landscape. Two framed verse inscriptions in Gothic script occupy the upper left and upper right corners of the composition. The denomination '50' is repeated in white numerals within red panels at the lower left and lower right corners, with the descriptive caption 'Bezwingung des Raubritters Bassewitz' centred in the lower red border. |

The Gewerbe- und Landwirtschafts-Bank in Kyritz was a cooperative credit institution — the "e.G.m.u.H." designation marks it as a registered cooperative with limited liability — and its decision to issue notgeld in 1921 reflects the acute small-denomination coin shortage that plagued provincial German commerce well into the inflation years. J. A. Schwarz of Lindenberg im Allgäu was a prolific notgeld printer, supplying dozens of small issuers across the Reich during this period.
