背面描述	Yellow-toned reverse with the same guilloche border as the obverse, repeating 'G·M·HOLZ FRANKFURT A·MAIN' and 'GEGRÜNDET 1849' around the margins in red letterpress. The central vignette presents a stylised view of a Frankfurt streetscape with medieval tower architecture rendered in yellow and ochre tones, flanking a large black diamond cartouche from which emerges a boldly drawn red devil's head — a reference to the 'Wolfseck' locality in Frankfurt. Below the cartouche the bold inscription 'WOLFS-ECK' appears in black Gothic lettering. Small silhouetted figures animate the lower register of the scene.
