备注

The Fuchsturmgemeinde was the civic association responsible for maintaining the Fuchsturm, a medieval tower on the Kernberge hills above Jena. Like hundreds of German municipal bodies and private associations during the 1921 inflationary period, it issued its own Notgeld to cover small transactions when official coinage had effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply insufficient in volume for daily commerce.

Printed locally by Johannes Arndt Druckerei, the note never traveled far. Jena-area Notgeld from this period was often redeemed quickly and destroyed, making intact examples moderately scarce despite the quantities originally issued.
