| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed in red and black on white paper, the reverse is divided into three vertical panels: the left panel carries the text legend of the issuing authority in black Gothic lettering against a white ground; the central panel presents a large vignette of a firefighter's helmet in red and black set before a Gothic cathedral facade, with the artist's inscription 'DOM HILGUB.' at lower left; the right panel contains the validity clause and a facsimile signature of the Branddirektor in black ink. The denomination '50' and 'Pfg' appear in large decorative script at upper left and upper right respectively, and a banner at the foot of the note bears the firefighters' motto in red lettering. The printer's imprint 'DRUCK V. GEBRÜDER JÄNECKE, HANNOVER.' is printed in black below the lower border. |
