| Reverse description | The reverse depicts the heraldic castle of Freiberg, shown as a stylized fortified tower with flanking turrets. Two variants of this type are known: one with a cross atop the central tower (Men#8084.8) and one without the cross (Men#8084.7). The Meissen crossed swords appear beneath the castle motif as a regional symbol. The date '1921' is inscribed in the field below the castle device. The design reflects the civic pride characteristic of German municipal Notgeld porcelain coinage of the early 1920s. |
