| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse carries a central vignette of the Gothmund waterfront village as seen from the river, rendered in a woodcut-style letterpress in dark blue and black, with a hatched sky and billowing clouds above the rooftops and trees. To the left margin stands a full-length figure of a male fisherman in working attire, and to the right a woman in traditional dress carrying a basket, both rendered in the same graphic style against a dark border. Below the vignette, a red-bordered panel bears the denomination numerals '50' in blue at each corner flanking the central inscription block, with the printer's imprint 'H. G.
