备注

Zeulenroda's 1921 Pfennig notgeld belongs to the so-called "Districts Series," a coordinated set of small-denomination emergency notes issued by the city and keyed to specific localities in the surrounding Thuringian countryside. Langenwolschendorf — a village northeast of Zeulenroda — was one of several named districts given its own note within the series, a localist touch common to Thuringian municipalities that treated notgeld as much as a civic document as a monetary stopgap.

Otto Henning A.G. in Greiz handled the printing, a regional firm that produced notgeld for multiple Thuringian issuers during the inflationary period. The reference suffix .2-4/10 indicates this is one of several variants within the 1470 type grouping.
