| 正面描述 | The obverse is set against a light ochre guilloche underprint of interlaced foliate scrollwork within a double-ruled border. At upper left and upper right, two identical red diamond-shaped vignettes bear the monogram 'BKV' with the founding year 'Gegr. 1865' in Gothic lettering. The denomination '50 Pfennig' is printed in large bold blackletter type at centre, surmounted by the title 'Waren-Bezugsschein' and flanked below by the issuer legend 'Bezirks-Konsumverein Lörrach'; a serial number in red appears vertically along the left margin, accompanied by three manuscript signatures across the lower portion. |

| 备注 |
Bezirks-Konsumverein Lörrach was a regional consumer cooperative in Baden, and this 50 Pfennig note belongs to the Notgeld wave that swept Germany between 1914 and the early 1920s — municipal authorities, cooperatives, and private firms all issuing small-denomination scrip to compensate for the near-total disappearance of coin from circulation. A consumer cooperative issuing its own payment medium is not unusual for the period, but it does underscore how thoroughly the official monetary system had broken down at the retail level.
Whether this piece circulated exclusively within the cooperative's member network or passed more freely in the Lörrach district is not documented.
