| Reverse description | The reverse is designed as a facsimile of a 17th-century imperial document, with a torn-parchment border and a braided rope-and-tassel motif along the right edge. A large red wax seal impression bearing a double-headed eagle coat of arms appears at lower left, and a red circular denomination roundel marked '50' is placed at upper right. The main text, set in ornate calligraphic blackletter, reproduces a protective letter ('Schutzbrief') issued by Albrecht von Wallenstein to the free Imperial city of Mühlhausen in 1625, with a facsimile signature in red ink across the centre. |
