| Obverse description | Notgeld issue in green, red, and brown letterpress printing, with an ornate foliate border framing the entire face. To the left, an oval vignette portrays Charlemagne (Karl der Große) in imperial regalia, his name inscribed along the oval's edge. To the right, the issuing authority text appears in Gothic blackletter script, with the place name 'Hausberge a.d.
